So it’s not even about food, as the hunting fraternity like to claim. “We eat what we shoot.” Bullshit. It’s about money. Money before wildlife. Money before ethics. Money before common sense, or respect for life. But then we knew that already, right? Meanwhile, land owners and their lackeys (sorry, gamekeepers) blast native birds of prey out of the sky, like the struggling and dwindling Hen Harriers, and trap and poison corvids, because they prey on the unnatural prey (e.g. pheasants – see pic) that they breed because they want to shoot them. Has this country gone mad? Can we please control these imbeciles from crapping all over our countryside and wildlife with their ridiculous claims of being “conservationists” and “custodians of the land”. Tossers with guns and a blood lust, and enough privilege to make money from killing without ever being called to account. That is what they are.

The video is available with a Google search. Gruesome, wasteful, dumb… lots of adjectives apply here. From irresponsible and unsporlsmanlike wolf culls to unsafe practices to harassing hawks and other predators to this kind of behavior, hunters continue to be their own worst enemies.
